"I gave birth to a band"

In Junior High Joe played every Friday night at school dances around the area. Many times over the years I went to hear him and other groups, even if Joe wasn't playing with them.

Little did we realize that music would become his career. Mostly he had his own band over the years, and after giving it many names, in 1987 settled on "Joe's Band" — which is what everyone called it anyway. Joe's favorite instrument is lead guitar, although he also plays the organ, piano, flute, accordion, bass and rhythm guitars, drums and acoustics. He is also the arranger and lead singer and song writer and wrote five songs for his CD titled "Listen."

I sincerely believe that, "Joe didn't choose music — music chose Joe!" I always say, "I gave birth to a band!"
